Program FAQ

What's included in the cost of the program? - E-Bikes w/listed accessories, GPS tracker, Reporting/Tracking Software, A tune up every 4 months and 4 ad hoc bike services per bike, per year.

How long is the contract term? - 2 years. After 2 years the bikes are out of warranty and need to be replaced.

Are there local grants or funds that can supplement the cost? - It's very possible. Check with your local laws and regulations. Some governments provide credits to companies who provide a commuter benefit.

Do insurance companies cover the cost as a health and wellness benefit? - It’s very possible. When businesses contract with a health insurance provider most offer for health and wellness initiatives, ultimately reducing claims and rates. Reach out to your company's provider for more details.

How are the maintenance services scheduled? - Ad hoc services are scheduled by Commute Co. at least 72 hours from the time of submission. We will coordinate with the user on the best date and time. Tune ups will be scheduled ahead of the time in coordination with the program manager. At least 2 weeks before the scheduled time, Commute Co. will provide an online sign-up portal for employees to select a specific time slot  to guarantee their spot.

Where are the services completed? - Ad hoc services may be performed at the user specified location depending on the type of request, but the default will be at the clients site. Tune ups will all be completed at the clients site.
